Job Description:

As a technical marketing engineer in the automotive analog marketing division, you will primarily be responsible to investigate and propose new analog device solutions for various automotive segments including electric vehicle technologies, electrical and electronic architectures, ADAS and related opportunities. You will also take on responsibility for the marketing of existing analog products for the demand creation. Your role will include meeting with customers to discover market needs and trends, identifying new product solutions and aligning customer market trends with those of industry market strategists. You will work with internal product divisions to propose and drive the development of new products based on your assessment of market needs and profitable business potential. The role includes a broad mix of technical skills to compliment the marketing role.

The preferred candidate will have technical marketing and automotive electronics design-related experience with a proven ability to communicate effectively with both external and internal customers. The ideal candidate would also have a strong background in the application of analog semiconductors.


Job Duties:

  1. Build over time a technical marketing team in China as a representative of automotive analog product marketing towards effective sales promotion to achieve successful design-in of responsible analog products.
  2. Perform market research and investigate customer feedback to create the demand for automotive analog products
  3. Develop and present technical proposals and design tradeoffs in response to customer inquiries for automotive analog and power products
  4. Support the new product development process for introducing new analog products in response to customer inquiries
  5. Produce effective promotion collateral to successfully demonstrate new product ideas leading to the accurate assessment of customer business opportunities
  6. Provide technical marketing support for automotive analog and power products
  7. Define requirements for customer reference designs, including hardware and software requirements, verification requirements and customer collateral
  8. Work with sales account managers, FAEs and product line marketing team to drive actions to secure new DINs and support ramp of existing ones


  1. BSEE or BSET degree or related bachelor’s degree required


  1. Over 5 years of experience in technical marketing or automotive-related electronics design required
  2. Automotive applications experience required, especially in vehicle electrification and control applications
  3. History of effective team leadership required
  4. Application knowledge of analog devices including motor, power management, power devices, battery management, sensors or RADAR desired
  5. Working knowledge of semiconductor technology desired
  6. Willingness to support limited domestic and international travel required
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills required
  8. Language skills

Chinese --- Native level of Mandarin Chinese for Reading/Writing/Speaking required

English --- Spoken and written communication with headquarter and local offices around the world required
