Regional Distribution Manager for Central China —Mass Market

Location: Chengdu, China

 Job Responsibilities:

As a member of the Renesas WW Sales & Marketing team, we focus on satisfying our customers and overcoming their challenges by being experts in our segments. We strive to be proactive, collaborative, ethical, competitive, and accountable in all areas of our work.  Renesas is seeking a strong candidate for a Technical Sales/Account manager for the East & Central China mass market.  A top candidate will be responsible for managing accounts within the designated market, manage distributors as well as working closely with segment and regional Field Application Engineers and Marketing.

 

Performance Objectives:

 Business Plan to Align with Sales Targets:

  • Develop a strategic business plan to align with growth targets defined for the East &Central China key accounts and new potential accounts.
  • Focus on assigned accounts in the territory, as well as emerging markets/account, the technical sales/account manager will determine the best business plan to gain account base for emerging and start-up customers.
  • Work to win and grow the accounts, once a robust account plan is established

 

Achieve sustainable and profitable revenue growth through demand creation:

  • Focus on establishing the processes, procedures, and orchestrating of resources that will drive revenue within key accounts.
  • Develop sales & technical strategies by effectively utilizing local & corporate resources.
  • Executing on these strategies, by simultaneously expanding the customer network and building new relationships.
  • Build up strong design pipeline and closely track the progress for new business
  • Be accountable for scorecard and deeply understand/penetrate into the customer to exceed the revenue target.

 

Customer Delight:

  • Engage customers both directly and indirectly, to support Renesas’ demand creation and growth strategy, both locally and globally.
  • Build relationships with engineering and purchasing to be seen as a trusted advisor.
  • Focus on overcoming customer’s challenges by gaining a deeper understanding of their systems and application needs.
  • Communicate Renesas’ product portfolio and solicit meaningful inputs from the customer to enhance our portfolio.
  • Maintain relationships with our distribution partners to ensure proper fulfillment and support for the assigned account base.

 

Requirements

  • FAE or Technical Sales in the Semiconductor field. Be experienced in industry and communication application preferred.
  • Good relationship with key account in the territory
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • Successful establishment of strategic business plans for penetration of target market segments.
  • Ability to offer customers a high value proposition and successful utilization of internal resources.
  • Fluent in English
