We are seeking a Doctoral/Postdoctoral Researcher to push forward the state of the art of machine learning and AI. You will research topics across multiple cross disciplinary areas of machine learning, computer science and electronics, and build prototypes to implement into our AI products for automotive and high-performance computing customers. 


Our mission is to use the latest machine learning and cloud technologies to develop the best AI inference for self-driving vehicle and advanced driver safety engineers. You will join our newly formed AI Solutions global research and development organization of around 100 software engineers. Due to strong demand for our AI-related products we are planning to triple in size in the next three years, so there is lots of room for you to help us grow the team together while remaining small. Our key locations are the Tokyo, London, Dusseldorf, and Ho Chi Minh City metro areas, but you can also join fully remotely from other locations globally or get our support to relocate to our key location hubs such as Tokyo. 





  • Research, and perform research on, the state of the art in machine learning, deep learning, or AI relevant to high performance computing and AI inference. 

  • Write and test product or system development code leveraging your research into development. 

  • Pioneer new of AI software engineering for inference 

  • Write industry-leading papers, research or develop patents at the cutting edge of technology 




  • Currently studying for, or completed, a PhD degree in the field of machine and deep learning, artificial intelligence, computer science or relevant field 

  • Experience in C/C++, Python, or other related programming language 

  • Research experience in a specific field of study of AI or machine learning 

  • Experience with scalable machine learning systems, optimization technologies such as neural network optimization, compiler development, model compression, or other relevant operational domain 

  • Presented at leading conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR or other similar conference, or demonstrated community contributions in open-source repositories or coding competitions 

  • Ability to speak and write in English at a business level.
