Job Summary:

Be part of a fun and exciting global team that focuses on using cutting edge technologies to develop innovative solutions to support business needs in global reporting.

Work with the Business Process Owners to analyze the reporting needs and translate these into a Power BI visual & analytical solution.

Your New Role:

• Work directly with the business to understand their requirements and the scope of the project
• Document and communicate the requirements with BI team members to identify the gaps and feasibility
• Build reports using technologies such as Power BI, MSSQL, Power Query, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues raised by business users
• Answer inquiries from BI Team members and business users as necessary

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree in information system /Computer Science or relevant.
• Ideal candidate shall have hands on experience on:
  • Power BI authoring
  • DAX, M (Power Query)
  • REST API
  • PowerShell
  • Data modeling
• It will be a great addition if you familiar with:
  • Power BI Data Marts, Data Flows
  • Power BI Connector Development
  • Power BI Premium Capacity Administration
• Able to communicate with colleagues and business users at different levels
• Able to work independent, self-motivated, and willing to take challenges
• Willing to work in different time zones when needed as many of our colleagues and business users are in different offices in the world
• Ability to clearly communicate well in both written and spoken English.  Japanese language is a plus but not mandatory.
• Passion to learn new IT Technologies 

This position is to be based in Bayan Lepas, Penang or remote work position where we provide flexibility to work at home or anywhere you like!
